Mounted speakers on my side by side. Know it's not my Mazda, but it's audio related. Jl audio mx7.7 in jl audio wake tower housings with a jl audio hx300/1 amp. Plays super loud and clean! Eventually think going to get a bar to move them up higher and away from the seat backs. Just quickly wired them up to hear them, will be mounting everything when my wetsounds rocker switch Bluetooth receiver comes in.

Okay audio gurus, have a question. I’m thinking about switching up the sound system in my truck. Currently I have 2 skar audio vd10s in a sealed downfire box. They are running combined at 1000rms at 1 ohm. I’m considering going to 2 8 inch skar audio zvx series subs and running a little more power through them, in a porter box under the rear seat. I’m really wanting to do 4 8s but money and the limited space will stop that. The 8s will face forward. Should the jump be made? Or should the 10s stay?

Gonna do new door speakers and maybe a 10 inch sub in my can am maverick. It’s loud, but it’s lackin the bass just a little. The jl 7.7 are awesome

One of the brands of lithium batteries i'm looking at (Limitless)makes powersport (atv) batteries, some even have built in bluetooth for a monitoring app, crazy!

I was looking at skar audio, looking to keep them on headunit power. Probably 2 sets of coaxial and leave the factory tweeters in place. I got a cheap battery off eBay for my bike, and it comes with a display built in that tells you voltage and counts days the battery has been hooked up. $29, works good too. When the battery goes bad in my maverick, I’m probably going to replace it with an Odyssey or build a mount for a full size battery. Can am designed it poorly.. the battery is right above the cat. So needless to say, batteries won’t last long.

I am quite impressed with my 6.5's in my doors, wish Sundown had a drop in available for our trucks though.

That doesn't sound good about the battery location, hope they have some decent heat shielding in there.

Yeah an aluminum plate lol. Yeah I am talking about the Chevy. My little brother is driving my Mazda until we get his Mercedes all fixed up and done. 91 350sd turbo diesel, putting a full system in it. Nothing fancy. 4 6.5 and a cheap headunit with a 10 in truck

Finally got the system metered for the first time ever yesterday scored 2nd place in the 2000w street stock db drag class.

Apparently i hit this number with 7-800w (to busy watching the clip light to notice) i guess i could have entered the lower 1000w class.

To top it off i metered with a busted out drivers rear window covered with duct tape so no doubt i lost 1-2 dB that way.

I only entered the DB Drag competition but i think once i get my AudioControl EQS installed i'll enter the Psychlone competition and i really like the idea of the Top Dog racing.
