Or should I get new mid woofers and tweeters? Should I leave them run through the factory cross overs? Or use different ones? Never had a component setup. I ordered some for my f150 and they came in right after I traded it in

I would say the components will make more difference and give better sound. Leave all the parts of the component setup together. They are meant to be ran that way. You can tweek from the head unit
Then replace the coaxials after because you may want to do another component setup back there after you have them

Finally decided what I'm going to do with it all...doing the big 3 with 1/0 awg and 250a fuse, 1/0 wiring kit for amps, sundown x-12, some skar component speakers, and hopefully the cab 1600 if I can get it ordered before they run out again lol. I'll be ordering it tomorrow night. Hopefully going to have it all by Christmas. Oh and I already have a 500w Memphis audio 4 channel amp for the components, and still looking for some speakers for the back.

Re: Show Your System
Got my skars installed in my new box for my Silverado. When I removed the subs from the f150 box, I noticed one of the screws hit the wiring for the sub and pulled it out. So 1 sub was only firing on 1 coil.. not good. The Silverado box sits higher off the floor. No way possible the subs are gonna rub the floor. Gotta remove the back seat to get the amp mounted on the back wall. I'm not gonna hook the bass knob back up bc I can just turn the subs down from the head unit. Very very excited to have my subs back. I've missed them so much

Re: Show Your System
Basically took the system out of the truck cause i'm plotting and scheming the next iteration of the system, also working a 14-7 shift 500km north of where i live here i do not want to come home to a truck robbed of gear.
Got a picture of the new friend i got the 2k to play with the spring
The 100.4 will be pushing some 6.5" sundown coaxials which will be replacing the type R's on a 50.4 i had going.

Thanks, I'm happy with how it turned out. Got it set up with a rear view camera, some kenwood speakers, parking break bypass, and the HU is really nice. I really like the way it functions.

Re: Show Your System
Will say, car audio bargain makes a solid amp. Gf opened the door in my truck today and the amp fell out, bounced off my running board and hit the concrete drive way. That was out of an 8 inch lifted Silverado on 37s so it was a waist high fall. I have to get that thing mounted somewhere. It doesn't fit behind the seat like I planned.. gonna aim for inside the center console with fans. Amp still works great.

Re: Show Your System
I'll hopefully be ordering my JL 13TW5v2 today or tomorrow. Just going to build a downfire box and bedline it. Probably going to construct some organizational racks/drawers. This clutter is driving me crazy

Re: Show Your System
Here it is!
A Stereo Integrity HST-15 MKII
I would consider it a cousin to the Zv5 from Sundown Audio, this one is going in a 4ft3 sealed enclosure.
