What's your guys opinion on Hifonics? I found a Hifonics HFi 1500d for $150 and the reviews on it seem pretty decent.

Well... have to totally redo everything. I traded my f150 in and got a new truck. I pulled everything out of it and will be putting my kenwood in the new truck, as well as the cab amp and skar subs. Gotta get a new sub box. And door speakers. Got a 2011 chevy 2500hd. 6.0 4x4 with 8 inch lift on 38s.

I've had an amp of theirs for 4 years, no problems at all.

Thanks. This ones only my third. I still have my Mazda. My f150 I got and it was good, I got the dreaded timing chain rattle and found out it had frame damage. So needless to say, I got a really good trade in deal on this one and I came out on top so I jumped on it. I will have this one for a long time

I saw a dyno test on YouTube for the hifonics Brutus 1700 watt mono block and it was pushing a legit 1600-1700 watts @1ohm. I may see if I can't find one of them.

Re: Show Your System
Depends. How much room you wanna lose? How much power? And what's your goal?

2 sa12's will have more cone area. The x-12 will probably have more motor force. The x will also get lower easier. I had an x10 and an sa12. I liked the x10 better.

Also if you have enough room you could look into an x12 in a 6th order box. Loved my x10 when it was in a 6th.

Re: Show Your System
Okay, for all the audio guys out there, and possibly the ones that own shops. My new trucks a 2011 chevy 2500hd. The truck has coaxial in the rear and components in the front. The tweeters don't sound all that bad up front. Would it be sufficient to replace the mid woofer in the front door and leave the factory tweeters? And then replace the rear speakers? Or should I get new mid woofers and tweeters? Should I leave them run through the factory cross overs? Or use different ones? Never had a component setup. I ordered some for my f150 and they came in right after I traded it in
