Built this for our apartment and for tailgate events. It's loud as fuck and I have less than $400 in it.

they make seat lift brackets to give you clearance for the box.

I know. The company claimed no modification but I'll find out if its in the way when I put my subs in there. Stuck it in the truck for now to get it out of my room.

Pioneer ib flat vs the JL thwt was linked almost $400 difference pioneer has better sensitivity and lower opperating power which means in theory itll be louder on the same amount of power both have theor advantages but none to justify a $400 difference in cost

It's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm guessing it weighs ~50-60lbs. Two people can easily pick it up.

Specs: Craigslist special 12" audiobahn subs (880 peak 400rms each), Craigslist special (new in the box) 2 5 1/4 and 2 6x9 kickers. JVC headunit. Used planet audio monoblock 4000w (running at 750rms @4 ohms) and used crunch 1000w 4 channel (running at 125w @4ohm) and $99 marine deep cycle (114 amp hours) Walmart battery to power the thing. My red top (55 amp hours) ran it for 31/2-4 hours at about 75% volume level and it's way smaller than the Walmart battery. So I'm hoping the Walmart battery will do 6+. We will see next game day.

Measure from the floor to the box I'll let you know if the skar will fit

----------

I have an ib flat 12 and it's not to bad. I like the design and how compact it is. But it's not all that. For retail price I would buy jl or alpine.

I need welding cable then enough for power and ground and then a 0 gauge breaker instead of a fuse block. I hate the damn fuse blocks

1" clearance from floor to bottom of box.

Also what would you consider a "good" LOC? I found a Scosche with remote amp turn on which I need for like $15

Does your amp have high level inputs?

I'll have to measure mine. I believe mine is 2 inches or so. The skars don't have a very big excursion. It's just the surround is huge. It's a very tight sub.
