I got a 7" Boss touch screen with rearview camera and sirius radio. And a 15" Kicker CVR with a 1400 watt amp and a 2.0 farad capacitor and pioneer door speakers. And for now this is the only pic I have of it

Its a 300W RMS amp (150x2) pushing only 150W into an MTX TT5610-04 (300W RMS) sub. It doesn't look like much, and looks like a meth-head installed it (I do not do drugs nor will I ever), but it does a surprisingly good job at providing me with ABOVE ABOVE factory but way below competition sound.

With 12-14 gauge speaker cable, connect the - speaker lead to the left - speaker output from the amp and connect the + speaker lead to the right + speaker output from the amp. That's bridged output. Now, properly lowpass the signal and set the gain correctly.

Re: Show Your System
Update from my previous post..:
Truck: '04 Ranger Edge Supercab
Headunit:JVC Single Din w/ Bluetooth
Speakers: (4) Infinity Reference 2-Way 6x8's
Subwoofer: (1) Infinity Reference 10"
Box: Built/Sealed
Amplifer: MTX Jackhammer 400W
This sounds GREAT on any music I listen to.. Rock, Rap, Dubstep, Punk Rock(Ex: Rise Against). So yeah, I love my set up right now. Only thing I want to do..is either: Bigger amp, or add a second one for the speakers.

Love your setup. Quick question do you notice any noise problems with your RCA wires next to your power wire.

Re: Show Your System
Hey guys,I have a question.
When connecting two amps to a HU. Do you connect both remote(blue) wires to the same remote wire on the back of the HU?

I think you would splice or tclamp into it. Since they both need to know when to turn on.

Cut or splice the blue wire in the middle and connect it to the remote of the HU then connect each end of the blue wire to the amps remote, that's what I did

Yep. I help my buddy hook up a system in his mustang that had a factory amp. What I did was crimped one remote wire to the HU with a butt spice, then I used a 3M quick connect to connect the other remote to the HU.
But I suppose you could use the power antenna turn on wire, as long as it has the correct amperage as the remote turn on wire.

Re: Show Your System
I finally have something to listen to in my Ranger. It's not finished but I have decent sound.
This truck came with radio only.I've had a Sony HU and Polk dbs for a couple months.
Then I ordered a Boston 2x60RMS amp from Crutchfield and a JL 10"sub(300W RMS@4ohms)/box and RF500.1( 320x1@4ohms) amp from SonicElectronix.
Well when I got them(sub/box and RF amp) they both looked used.I thought if I hooked them up and they worked,I'd keep them.
So I hooked it all up and I had no sound from the sub.The light on the RF amp was blue. After a few minutes the amp got real hot so I unhooked it.I then decided to tune the Boston amp and Polk door speakers but when I tried there was no sound from my ipod(even though I could see it playing)but the radio worked.
So today after work I hooked an old MTX amp(300x1@2ohms) that has powered several different speakers in the past.It pushed the JL pretty good.
I was impressed at how well the Polk db's sounded with power. However not so much with the JL/box.I guess I'm kinda jaded I'm used to two 12" Kicker CVRs powered by a Kicker ZX750.1 in a bandpass box directly behind me.Also I've heard comperable single 10''sealed box sub systems that kick harder.I might replace the JL with a good ole Kicker in the near future.
I'm gonna call Sonic Electronicx in the morning and try to get the RF amp replaced, but I'm screwed with the HU that won't produce sound from my Ipod now.I know I wont be able to get SonicElectronix to buy me a HU,although they should.
I still have to remove the cab corners which necessitates removing the seatbelt to be able to mount the amps when I finally get what I end up with.I also have to shorten the wires, roll back the vinyl floor covers and slit it where necessary to run the wires.I can't shorten the RCA cales so I'm gonna stuff them under the vinyl under the seat.
