Lol his amp probably isn't one ohm stable. And a sub can't throw your amp into protect if it's blown lol

That's what I'm saying. Told him to rewire it lol. Besides when I hear them blown they pop and rattle. Like the quantum lmao. Need to sell that box.

----------

Think I might crank the amp up and beat that sub till she freezes up lol. Would be a good sub to throw in a mud truck or something just beat on it. It sounds good when you crank it up. Shit it was flexing my headliner around the sunroof.

----------

These 10 inch skars are heavy little things!! Can't wait for my box to get here so I can get the truck torn apart and get it all installed for good. Won't see any wires! Lol I hate wires.

The subs got a little scratch and pop to it when it pushes out. Only sometimes though.. If you push the cone, it's smooth. Never got warm, and never smelled.. Idk maybe over extended it or something.

Hopefully next week or so, will be ordering the kenwood excelon ddx393, steering wheel adaptor, install kit, harness, video bypass, rear tail gate handle, and back up camera. Waiting for my box to be made and shipped out to me. Then my rear seat will be ripped out and amp will be installed for good.

Just ordered a new Kenwood KMM-BT515HD headunit with new AI dash kit. Any tricks to snapping it in place?

I'm hoping to do my big 3 tomorrow during the dead time at work. Lol. I have to crimp on the terminal ends on the wire and solder them in place.

That sounds like a ton of fun, having to do them in place

I'm apartment bound with no work space of my own, so a fellow local FRF'er is letting do mine at his place tomorrow.

Nice. Yeah my work is open later on Saturdays now so I have plenty of down time and boss allows us to do whatever we want as long as shops clean

So attempted the big 3... Slapped me in the face. I need new Pos and negative terminals. As well as the alternator post isn't all that long.. I didn't want to remove any of the factory stuff.

----------

What terminals does everyone recommend? Need to hook up 1 0 gauge, 1 4 gauge and then the factory stuff. I would prefer terminals with posts instead of the amplifier style connections

Yes like that. There's only 1 wire that doesn't have a terminal. I can grab one from work. The wire is built into the factory terminal.
