Re: Show Your System
Here is an example of what i'll be running and my expectations,
In the next week or so i will be installing a 250 amp Mechman to replace the 170 amp model of theirs i am using now.
I have two group 65 batteries (under hood & in the box)
The amps i am using are fused for 250 amps total so i expect to stay in the 14's or high 13's for voltage when i drop the bass.

you'd be good with the one i'm using if your running the 2600 @ 2 ohms you'd be around 200amps of peak draw.
If i can't sell it locally you bet, just be aware that international shipping is a kick in the dick with something this heavy, my new one cost $85 for shipping to the great white north of canuckistan.

Wish I had $400 right now lol. I'd definitely own a sundown x10 and a better amp. Got one for sale near me for $200.

Yah I'm trying to get the x10 lol. I could use it on the amp I have right now for a while. 1200 Rms bridged at 2 ohm. Old ma audio amp. Would be perfect for the console I want to do in the back seat of my f150.

Re: Show Your System
I got in some JBL P660C speakers today. I would throw them in right away but theres no way my compact 10" pioneer sub could keep up unless I level match the speakers into oblivion.
Anyone got opinions on a 4 ohm single voice coil sub thats good sq, high sensitivity, and rated for 400wrms (or so)? Gonna build my own box (sealed, downfiring).. Thinking a 10" or 12" but dont know for sure..
I need a 4 ohm single voice coil sub as my amp is only 4 ohm stable when bridged.

Re: Show Your System
The Sundown nuthugger in me says you should check out the SD-3 series
but thats just like my opinion though man
Oh, didn't read the single 4 ohm bit, in that case maybe a Dayton Audio RF series might work for you

I want my sub! Lol didn't have the chance to wire it up today. Hopefully I'll have a day off next week to do it. Also have the big 3 to do. Need some 0 gauge crimpers

I used a $40 8 ton crimper from ebay, works pretty good for me.
Came with dies to do all sort of gauges, i could probably squeeze 20 to 2/0 if i wanted.
