It's picking up an interference from something. My guess is your alternator. Try disconnecting the alternator and the battery and letting it sit. Maybe it's holding a charge somewhere that's transferring over

$80 for sky high 4 gauge wiring kit and 0 gauge big 3 kit. Not bad. Need to find an amp that I can throw in the truck for now. I have a crunch amp laying around. Just put my alpine mrv500 in my moms Silverado. Need to find some stuff to sell so I can get stuff ordered.

Re: Show Your System
Electrical upgrade rev 3.0 is in full swing, everything ordered online should be here by the end of next week.
Gives me time to find a good local source for some welding cable.
----------
Anyone know of a detailed thread that deals with making an oval hole round? i mean 6.5" in the 5x7/6x8 holes.

You can buy adapters that fit 6.5" and 5 1/4" on amazon. Just look for 6×8 to 6.5" speaker adapter.

Nah that's cheap for quality wiring. The whole system is gonna cost me roughly $1300 how I'm wanting to do it all. Kenwood excelon double din, jbl components up front, infinity reference in rear, sound stream mini amp, skar audio 1500.1, dual 10 3/4 mdf box (maybe foxbox), 2 skar audio vd10 dual 4 ohm wired at 1 ohm pushing around 750rms per sub. Then obviously wiring and most likely dynomat. It's gonna take some time. The system in my Mazda I paid probably $800 for all of it.

Re: Show Your System
I totally get that. I'm more about performance and moding my truck and you like sound haha. What brand tweeters are good? And on the cheap side.

I'm on both sides. The radio isn't the only thing that's getting touched. I'll be doing an intake mod, edge tuner, exhaust, lowering it and thicker sway bars. And I can't really help you with tweeters. Never used them. Although I wouldn't use them if you have coaxial speakers as you already have tweeters.

Re: Show Your System
Figured out my system for sure.
3-10" neo mclarens
2 mlt2 mclaren tweets
That's per door.
Each door with have about 1200 watts going to it. Then just two m16-15s for my subs.
All of this on top of the 5.0 swap and explorer interior

Will have to look at it.
Just looked it up. That's pretty impressive for the price. I have never heard of the brand before.. Kinda makes me worry a little. I want and need a quality amp that isn't gonna burn up on me and will put out some power.

Okay. Your truck is gonna turn out sweet. Thanks for the help. I think I have coaxial speakers so I'm not gonna worry about it and just tune what I have to where I like it.

If you hear music out of them, you have coaxials. Component speakers have a mid bass (woofer) and a separate tweeter.

Why you gotta change around my plan?! Lol I like the price tag on that amp. I'm not planning on running 0 gauge.. I would like to keep it 4 gauge. Basically for the simplicity of wiring. It's easier to hide 4 gauge than 0. Should be pretty good with 0 gauge big 3 and 4 gauge wiring.

Most mid bass are mid range as well. So you will hear vocals and a good amount of mid bass. Mine are crossed over at 100hz on the low end and start rolling off around 4khz
