I've got this buzzing noise in my bass that won't go away unless I turn my bass knob all the way down. If I have music on I can't hear it, but if I have the music down, I hear it all the time. Gets louder when I accelerate, what can I do to fix this? Ive been told it could be my ground or rcas, but made a new ground and also bought new rcas and it still didnt go away. Any ideas to fix it?

Could try a ground loop isolator

Where is your amp mounted and how is it grounded?

it's just behind the drivers seat and have it grounded down to one of the seat bolts now. Don't remember where I grounded it the first time. Just a random bolt somewhere in the back

Seat bolts aren't very good grounds. Did you strip the paint at least?

yeah I got the paint off. Where would you suggest then? Somewhere on the drivers side preferably. I know the first place I had it grounded it still made the buzzing noise too. I never had a problem with this in my other two trucks I've had. But they were Chevys. This ranger was a pain in the ass compared to them

Are your rcas ran with the power cable? Sounds like your picking up from the alternator. I have my Amps in the Mazda hooked up to seat bolts and I have never had an issue with it

nope the power wire comes down the left side of the truck and the rcas are on the right. I was told that as well so that's why I moved the rcas over and it still didn't fix it

If I were you I would drill a hole in the floor and sand all the paint off and ground your amp there. If you don't wanna do that make sure your ground is tight also is your amp screwed down to the metal? If so that could be your issue if your amps mounting feet are metal. Try unbolting it and see if you still have the issue
