Oh no doubt it's a shitty brand lol no amps or subs for me so I'm not worried about that. All the reviews I read were actually really good. But either way I got the 2 year warranty so I should be good haha

I've got the cheap cheap dual in my jeep. And it..... Well sucks. But it works. Jeep is a mud and trail toy so it doesn't need anything nice just radio. I would change it. But it's a pain in the ass in the older jeeps. (90 Cherokee)

Alpine is a great head unit. I have the old model Iva w200 head unit in my truck. I have navigation as well. Hasn't been updated since 2005... But I have gps for the most part. Don't really use it. iPod hookup, got a RCA Bluetooth module that turns on with he radio. Amazing add on. Alpine is top notch. But I think they are a little behind the times.. To me the only unit that I would use now is a pioneer. They have a ton of options for the money and have great sound quality. Next head unit I'll have (hopefully in 06 cummins if I get it) will have a pioneer with Apple car play (pioneer also support android) infinity speakers, alpine amp and type R 10. After having my type R 8. I will never buy another brand. I love the sound quality of the subs, they don't require a huge box or big amp either. They are a great all around sub. Clean and loud. I don't need anything just to be the loudest on the block. Lol. I'm pretty much over that.. At only 20.. Lmfao

Kenwood Excelon deck, Excelon 900-5 amp, Focal components up front, Hertz in the back, new wiring into the doors, about 60 square feet of sound deadener and I'm unsure of the sub at the moment. As of right now the sub is a JL W3, but I really want to put a shallow 12 in a small box instead. I don't want a huge box in the back and I plan on making the spare tire well an enclosure eventually

Shallow mounts aren't going to sound as good and play as low as a normal sub. Atleast the one I have didn't.

What did you have? I'm familiar with slims, I've actually been impressed with some. Eventually I'll probably be going with a JL TW5 or possibly venturing into a Stereo Integrity slim. Until I get the time to build the enclosure in the well.

I have a pioneer ib flat 12 champion series. Was in my Mazda years ago.. Still have it. I'm sure slim line subs have upgraded and changed a little since then. Can't go wrong with anything from jl. I'm looking at getting the 12w3 factory integration subs with a 500/1 jl amp.

This is the 10 version. But it's what I have. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...-SW2501S2%7CS4

App crashes every time I try to reply to someone.

Anyway, I wish poor people like me could afford focal lol. Sounds nice. Had to sell my system to fund a project car/truck I want to do.
