I'm making a box for my 10" sub in shop class. I have a single cab 98'. Any porting ideas or dimensions. The box I have now makes the sub sound like shit.

If you have a single cab, you should be thinking sealed

Ported boxes are bigger than a sealed box. Build a sealed box to the specs of the sub. Don't just build a box and slap a sub in it that's when stuff sounds like crap. The box makes all the difference.

I'd either go center console box or you could do a ported one for a 10 since that one probably doesn't have a large mounting depth. But you'll lose some leg room :P

I have a 12 in my 03 2.4 step side.. Had to pay a little extra for a kicker slim! It slams though I love it, just enough to shake my eyeballs but not enough to rip the little truck apart

I'm gonna do the 40/40 conversion and make a console box to save some money. The crappy little box I have now shakes the cab but the one I'm making is a 20 inch ported
