The JVC Arsenal deck with bluetooth was the better part of the haul! It sure pays to be at the right place at the right time.

Couldn't pass up the hefty savings though. I'm still on the fence about selling it all and getting something else.

That sub will sound alot better if you fill it with fluff and seal off the enclosure and give it at least rated power. Very few Kicker subs sound good in a ported and the ones that do are usually band-passed around 45-75 hz.

Whats so bad about a Kicker Comp? I had a 10" Comp for over 4 years and loved it

Kicker has become one of this mainstream subs. And it's people that own the that give them a bad name cause they think they have the best and like to act like everyone else's stuff is shit

For it only being 350W and a single 10 it hit pretty damn hard. The 12" 1000w Xplod that was in the hatch of my Integra was more but it was also bigger. That actually could be felt outside the vehicle. The comp not so much.
My buddy had 2 12" MTX Terminators? and they were pretty damn good too

My roommate at college had 4 Kenwood 12"s in his car. It was insane.

I sold car audio for a few years before joining the military.

Kicker got smart and partnered with Best Buy to get their products out there. Unfortunately Best Buy usually only stocks their bottom/entry level stuff and that's what most people purchase. Kicker does have some decent stuff but you have to special order it.

It's rare to see any Rockford Fosgate, Soundstream, JL audo, etc. When I sold people always wanted what was cheapest and available.

Sound quality - another entirely different thing

Yeah I'm pretty sure that once I get a good amp my single HDS215 will blow the average person away that's running 2 12" kickers even now it'll be close and its running on a shitty pyramid amp that's maybe giving it 100wattsv

Best money you can spend on a system IMO, i have some pictures of the work i did in my cab linked in my signature below.
