What exactly do you mean when you say, "power hungry amp" ? You would want an efficient amp, because of what an amp does. It amplifies power. You hope it is completely the opposite of that. Not power hungry.

thats a 12 hr rating on pink noise, easily handle 100 rms in a daily.
the next upgrade for those is going from 50w on the 4ch. to 100w ( SAX-100.4v2)

And what is the sensitivity rating of the speaker? Depending on the sensitivity, they may not be loud enough...
I mean, sundown is obviously great stuff. Just curious..

With a sub in the system ? You meant highpass. With a sub in the system, fullrangers are normally highpassed at 100-125 hz and the sub lowpassed at ~80 hz.
