What exactly do you mean when you say, "power hungry amp" ? You would want an efficient amp, because of what an amp does. It amplifies power. You hope it is completely the opposite of that. Not power hungry.

Silk tweet (0.75?) paper/wool blend cone for mid.

"Rated" for 50w rms.

thats a 12 hr rating on pink noise, easily handle 100 rms in a daily.

the next upgrade for those is going from 50w on the 4ch. to 100w (SAX-100.4v2)

And what is the sensitivity rating of the speaker? Depending on the sensitivity, they may not be loud enough...

With a sub in the system ? You meant highpass. With a sub in the system, fullrangers are normally highpassed at 100-125 hz and the sub lowpassed at ~80 hz.
