At least tell me each sub has it's own chamber and it's not just 1 big chamber for both. Did you make the box ? What material did you use ? Please don't tell me it's ported.
Yeah the box has a split in the middle inside the box. And if I expand the radius of the holes for the Suns I can fit bigger speakers.

Dude. You're doing it wrong. It's way more complicated than that, if you want you subs to perform correctly. Every sub has a set of parameters it performs best within. Some of those parameters include interior volume of enclosure, dimensions of enclosure, etc.

I am going to have 2k also and i have a 170a Mechman and two group 65 northstar AGM batts.

According to the replies i got on the CACO forum about the capabilities of running 2k a few replies said i would be ok.

Have a question for the audio gurus. Noticed the other day a rattle in my sub. Alpine type R 8 DVC 4 ohm. Tonight it was louder. Sounds blown but it's not. Come to find out the rubber sound came unglued from the dust cover. So what do I do to fix that? Can a shop fix it? Or am I gonna be screwed and have to buy a new sub?

You mean from the cone? Just glue it back on.

The surround is seperating from the cone

----------

Idk what glue to use and I don't want it to look rigged. Want it to look like it came from the factory. Really not happy that it came undone. Never had an issue with Anything alpine before
