You are right. Doubling cone area can have the same effect as well

My updated, cleaned up system.

Radio

Sub and Amplifier

System after I had wires rerouted and cleaned up.
And as you can see, the Amplifier IS new. What looked like a nasty
scratch in last photo, was in the protective plastic cover on the amp.
I left it in place, until I was pretty much done getting things installed.
Once done, I pulled the protective covering off. Now, it looks better!

So you are saying 10" subs and 15" subs can work properly in the same enclosure ? Do you have concrete blocks in each side to make the internal volume less ? Kicker subs suck bad enough in a properly made and sized sealed enclosure. No way they sound good or work properly in that huge square box. At least tell me each sub has it's own chamber and it's not just 1 big chamber for both. Did you make the box ? What material did you use ? Please don't tell me it's ported.

I got tired of seeing these boxes in extended cabs. Single cab rangers have just enough space for entry level comp subs. Fosgate anyone?

Their subs haven't been the same in a long time. Amps are still great

this is an old fosgate p1 punch series. Built like a p2 and she is my old faithful. New fosgates don't compare at all to her. You are absolutely right
