I installed my pioneer deh-x8600bh, alpine ktp-445u, and focal 570ca1 coaxials in the rear doors. What a difference just the deck and mini amp made. I got my mic run up to the visor and my rca and remote wire started down the passenger side. I can't wait to get my focal separates installed in the front doors and at least one of my sundown sd-2 10's installed. Hopefully one will be enough, so I don't lose any more space for tools in the back. Both jump seats and the jack cover are coming out(truck didn't come with a spare or jack, and I have AAA).

Who here is running Pioneer door speakers? I wana swap everything to pioneer. I don't exactly like running a mutt system. Ford speakers. Rockford Fosgate Punch II Subs and pioneer deck and amp. It's a mutt.

Honestly sometimes the mutts sound the best. I have a mutt system in my truck but its one of my favorites.
I am not curently running them but i have ran pioneer coaxials and 3 ways in other vehicles and they are always great.

I'm sure it's been said a million times before in this thread. But what size are ranger door speakers. The rears are 9's aren't they?

Those will work fine if you're not ever gonna amp them more than the headunit.

It's honestly dumb to try to get a system of one brand imo. Each company has their strong suit, but shouldn't be making others.like Kenwood has great HU's but garbage amps and speakers.

I have Pioneer 6.75 components on about 120w per door btw and they are loud as hell and sound awesome

I wouldn't call anyone dumb for it, but it is unneccessary. Is that 120 watts RMS ? Which component set and what amp powering them ?

Worst case it would be the back doors and the sub. I have some Hertz I think I'm going to pull from my truck for the back doors sometime.
