That amp is will do 450 watts RMS at 4 ohms when bridged. If you tune it correctly to output 300 watts RMS, it will be fine for that sub.

Here's the caveat ... If that sub will be in a ported box, you need a subsonic filter set no more than 5 hz below the tuning of the box. That amp doesn't have a subsonic filter built in like a good sub amp would have.

Yes it will be fine in a sealed box but if you listen to alot of rap or hiphop, you would rather have a ported box made for that sub, tuned wherever is best for it. You can get inline RCA filters that connect to the amp.

no rap for me

just a country music guy who likes bass. Only time rap is played is when one of my friends who listens to rap is in my truck.

Just be sure you make or get a sealed box the correct size for the sub.
