Yep, could be lots of thangs. 2 x 8 ohm svc, 2 x 4 ohm svc, 2 x 4 ohm dvc, 2 x 2 ohm dvc ... I am guessing 2 x 4 ohm dvc. Thinking those weren't made in 8 ohm. Please don't F up and buy Boss or Dual. If you can't afford any kind of quality now, save up. You will be glad. What's the hurry ? You probably have some good subs there. Quality begats quality.

Re: Show Your System
Who has their sub box in the rear jump seat spot. I currently have a 12" sub with a pretty big box and it's getting annoying so I was looking at downgrading to a smaller box and putting it where the jump seat is since I don't even use it. Any one have pics?

I have sealed 10's under the jumpseats. Good for rock, metal, country. If you listen to hiphop & rap, you won't like small sealed or probably anything except a tuned ported setup.

I've got a single 10 in a custom slim box. An amp that can run 2 10s but tuned down about halfway. I listen to every genre except gospel and it bumps perfectly to every note

Re: Show Your System
I don't listen to music that has a lot of bass, mainly rock and metal and sometimes I'll listen to techno.

Sealed will work well for you and there are some very good Pioneer sealed shallow setups that work well downfired under either or both jump seats. Jumpseats still usable. Before some smart alec jumps in and says ah heck no don't get Pioneer setup, he hasn't heard mine. Pioneer builds these sub/box combos to work very well together with 400 watts rms.

Ouch. I personally wouldn't buy a Pioneer car audio amp.

Still couldn't get the sub or the cover off so I don't know on the sub. But the amp is a Pioneer GM-A5602

Take the screws off the grille. Remove grill, set aside.
Pull rubber back around the edge of the sub to expose the screws (rubber folds over screws), unscrew them and the sub will come out. It might stick to the carpet

ohhhhh. I'll try that tomorrow. It hits pretty good. I'm sure this answer will be a yes, but do I have to tune the system? I didn't get a RCA cable for the remote wire(the wire that turns the amp on when the stereo comes on) and I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't turn on. so I called the local audio place(Car Tunez) and he told me to just run a jump wire. From the initial power to the remote power. And it turned on. Is this fine to do? The guy I talked to was the owner. I felt pretty confident with him saying to do so but I'd like to be reassured. I'll get an rca cable to actually run to the amp from the deck. But this setup is for the time being
