Re: Show Your System
XPE2700 - Has a 30 amp fuse so might do this -
50 watts x 2 channels (4 ohm speakers)
75 watts x 2 channels (2 ohm speakers)
Bridged RMS Power -
150 watts x 1 channels
----------
The XPE4700 has 2 - 25 amp fuses so it might do 50 watts RMS x 4.
----------
150 watts RMS is way underpowering those RF subs.

No Idea what any of that is. Watts Amps and ohms I know is an electrical term. Ohms is resistance right?

----------
This as close as of a pic that I could find. I'll snap a pic of it tomorrow

The model number would be on the sub magnet. Noone can recommend an amp for those subs without knowing what they are.

Those are Punch 2's or HE2's. 400 RMS, and there were different voicecoil setups

Here's an actual pic of the sub. I can't get cover off the back to get the model number.

We either need to see the actual back of the sub (that's just a prefab box with RF sub) or we need you to get a meter reading of the impedance (ohms) at the wire terminal

and how does one get a reading of the sub? I assume you use an electrical reader. Sorry for my noobness. Thank you guys for all the help so far. As for the back of the sub I can't get the back cover off. Took the screws off and tried prying it off and no luck

Take the grille off the front and then unscrew the sub
Or, yes. A DMM, digital multi meter would get you the reading. I'm guessing it's a 4 ohm
