and yeah. An 8 would be great or even a 10. However I don't think the factory amp would work

Yeah well the car has the top guard over it that looks like an SA 8 would fit in well if it would bolt down properly. I would probably build a bracket to keep an aftermarket amp in the same spot without installing it upside down so it doesn't get fried. Just having a hard time deciding if it's even worth doing to a new car, even in the long run.

Re: Show Your System
It's not worth doing unless you bypass the Harmon Kardon system and install an amp and custom box in the trunk.

Re: Show Your System
Older crunch amp, plan on getting a kicker amp once this one goes out

Re: Show Your System
OIC, yea that Crunch doesn't output rated power. If it did, you probably would have blown that cheap Kicker sub by now. Kicker makes good amps. I'm not good with their subs and speakers, however.

Hi guys here's mine. Alpine head unit cde-149bt a jl audio 12 inch w6 and a hd750/1. At one point I had 2 w6s. They are the new ones with jl spec boxes. It was way to much. I like my stuff but for what I paid I could have done better. I do like the amp though. Eventually will replace this with some sundown stuff. Only had this ranger 6 months and have already had five different setups ha.

That's nice ! JL is more SQ gear while Sundown is more for SPL. Do you mean to trade SQ for SPL ?
