there are no fuses in the Mmats amp.

The fuses on the board are there to protect the output section of the board. If they pop no more output. That way if a cap pops or some other component on the front side of the board goes, the hole board does not get destroyed. So if amp has to be sent on for repair mmats does not Have to replace entire board, just replace/ fix bad components. But if entire board gets trashed they will replace the hole thing.

Re: Show Your System
If the amp takes a 40 amp fuse or a 60 amp fuse or 80 amps of fusing, it makes no difference what the amp circuitry does with the current it gets from the alternator and/or battery. The fuse will blow if the current exceeds the rating of the fuse !

Yes, just like with any amp, the fuse protects it. If the amp tries to draw more current than the rating of the fuse, the fuse will blow and there will be no output from the amp. Same as with any amp.

I've clamped my 4K's. No pics or videos were taken because no fucks were given. But each 4K puts out over 3K at a rise of 2 ohm at 12.2 V. That's after demoing for about 6-8 hours. Same small on board fuses that are sent with amp from factory.
We will probably clamp the 1400 after everything is built to se what it's doing, but it's up to Mazda to tell what it does.

Might be trolling, but 800 + 800 = 1600.
Not sure were 1200 came from unless your Kevin, the owner of skar audio?

Re: Show Your System
[QUOTE=Mazda0610;2158744]for everyone else? Yeah. It puts out around 1600 watts. Doesn't get warm. And American made
The original deal was you have this mmats 1400.1 amp with 80 amps of fusing that makes 1600 watts. We want to see that. Nominal or RMS. None of that peak BS.

It's been my entertainment for the last few days.
My GF just bought a '00 Chevy silverado with an aftermarket system. It slams pretty good for what it is... It's got 2 12" kicker CVR's in a custom box underneath the rear seat, some amp I haven't been able to identify due to the location, and some speakers I haven't been able to see yet, all I know is it sounds solid for what it is. Gets some nice window flex and a little roof flex as well.
