Size has nothing to do with the class or efficiency. It's the type circuitry used.

estimate amp power, etc. Unused amps, change power output to 0, hit enter -

Not sure what that amp will do but I'm pretty sure it is not 1 ohm stable and is rated for 1500 watts @ 2 ohms load.

OK, now you opened your mouth. What is the model # of your audiopipe amp ?
AP1500 it's the older style. They have been benched at like 1100w-1200w clean, and I like to drive it into a soft clip. I know a guy that's a dealer and will exchange the amp if it blows for $15

60 amps thats it? that doesn't seem right doing the math.

60 x 14.4= 864 x 0.8 = 691.

That 1400w rating must be with a 0.5 ohm load at 16v or something.

Regardless of the numbers it's a nice amp and being built in the US i suppose there is a bit of a premium to be paid.

the 4000.1 did 3k at 2 ohms. Whoch is 1000 watts more than rated. And it was 2 volts below rated at 12.1

It must boost the voltage internally like that hybrid T15K above, which is pretty cool.

The old V-Drive Alpine headunit's did that, boosted up to 17volts internally to get the "60wx4" rating they had.
