Alright I was going to ground the amplifier to one of the rear bolts on my drivers side seat, and I can't get the damn bolt out. none of the 4 rear ones will budge. My air ratchet can't even break them loose. So what am I going to do... My signature may say i've ran the 0/1 gauge but honestly I haven't yet lol! I still need to figure out where to run my power wire as well. I should have figured that out with my intake off, but I didn't have time...

I ran all my wires under the carpet and so I took the plastic door jam trim or that says ranger and grinded the paint off and laid the ground there with one of the screws that holds that plastic trim off.

In my Ranger I grounded out under the seat bolt and bolted the power wire directly under the carpet into the floor.

Well I mean I don't know where the hell I can drill a hole in the fire wall without screwing something up. And I have to be able to fit the huge ass wire through there. And well I want to do under the seat bolt, but I literally can not get that bolt out. I tried everything. I did the wrench on the end of another wrench trick, a ratchet, an air ratchet, i got in there and kicked the shit out of the wrench and ratchet, and I still can't get the bolt out. I tried some spray that is supposed to assist in making it easier to get a problem bolt out, i tried WD-40, lol if I ever want to do a seat swap I won't be able to at this point.

I had a few bolts that wouldn't budge even with a big breaker bar when I got rear ended and had to put on a new bumper. I just sprayed it on at night and in the morning for 2 days and then I broke it right off with a small wrench. I'd try not getting it on carpet tho. Not sure how it would work on carpet

Doesnt sound like a good grounding point. Need clean shiny chassis or frame. Ground is the most important connection. Seat bolts arent good ground locations either. The best ground is by using a grommet to pass the wire thru just like when passing the power wire thru the firewall.

Good to know, I appreciate it. I'll be sure to change that when I'm back in town and around my truck.

So you're saying ground from the battery back? I unfortunately didn't get a long ground wire. I only have 2ft

NO ! Your amp ground should be 18" or less. Put a wire grommet in the sheet metal of the floor or cab rear wall and ground to the frame or chassis after you have properly prepared the metal where the self-tapping screw or bolt will fasten.
