Alpine has different models, the type s and type r. If your looking to run the speakers off the headunit, a lot of guys on here suggest infinity kappa series speakers.

These right here is what I'm putting In my doors.
I'm gonna put something else in the rear. Or might keep kickers in the rear.

Yeah or if you don't have a budget audison is the way to go.

Keep in mind!! That door speakers will not make bass like a sub, they will do better midbass which means the it will pick up the bass frequencies that the sub lacks.

Expensive. I am skeptical about the hertz. But once you get spending money they are highly suggested. Remember your front speakers will have more effect on what you hear then the rears will.

My buddy has 4 kicker 6x8 a kicker 500.1 amp, and a alpine type s 10 in a small sealed box. And his setup is loud, I installed it and it really does sound good. This is what I have in my truck.

I use GPS more then an average person. And the GPS also gives reviews on resturants and such. And the higher the watts the louder the speakers will be without distortion, that doesn't mean you can get speakers that will handle 200watts and hook them up to 25 watts. It will distort and you won't be able to turn it up as loud. No matter what a headunit says it will only put out 20 rms if that. Rms watts is what matters, never go by max wattage. That doesn't mean a thing.

Distortion will kill speakers, subs and amps.
