Everywhere in my region, the class D amp is way more expensive

If the sub is in good condition and not abused and the price is right then go for it and it is almost impossible to guess how a sub will sound without any info on the box

I thought this was show your subs, not discuss subs, amps, and car audio in general.

What do you guys think is the best sounding speaker for a door? Iam going to replace all four speakers front door and back? I measured the speaker and it came out to a 5x8.. That is right? Right? Or did I say it backwards.. Her is the factory one. Oo yeah when I get new ones will they gust plug in to the factory plug?

You could do 6.5"s which is what i have in my doors the adapters are like 5$ a piece. As for brand and quality I would personally do Kicker or Rockford Fosgate

Alpine and jl is also really good brands but to really get good sound out of a nice set of speakers you will need a headunit with a decent sound processor and a 4 channel amp.

As far as best speakers to get, it depends on what you will be powering them with. You can't get JL or RF or Polk, etc. speakers made for high wattage and expect them to sound well with an aftermarket or stock headunit alone.

I going to put speakers in all the doors then put a head unit in. I don't know what head unit. I was thinking kenwood. Then eventually put in a sub and amp in between the two jump seats. I know what I want to do I just don't know what to use. Plus I need some more 💰.

----------

Can somebody explain what dose 2 way and 3 way mean? Also what is a good watts amount for one speaker? Thx!

Kenwood is a good choice. Get Excelon if you can...their higher stuff.

As for speakers... don't bother with 2/3 way, wattage, etc...if you're only going to run them off of head unit power there's few options for good sounding. Speakers are designed to be amplified. If you can't afford speakers and an amplifier... get Infinity speakers. Low cost, great sound, and low sensitivity so they work well on head unit power.

Remember that a head unit can put out MAYBE 17 watts RMS...most speakers require at least 50-60 even for low end speakers.

Recap : Kenwood deck, Excelon if possible. Infinity Reference series speakers
