To build a false floor?... going THROUGH the floor would take lots of fab work but making a false floor would just be making a down firing box the fit the rear of the cab...

I was saying cutting the floor and putting in a fiberglass tub.
Building a normal box is no big deal

Re: Show Your System
It's not in it yet, but I am in the process of ordering 4 Pioneer TS-A6885R 6" x 8" 4-Way TS Series Coaxial Car Speakers and running a Kenwood KDC-X397 eXcelon Single DIN In-Dash Car Stereo Receiver. Not really into Subs or anything like that. The factory 6 disc ate my CDs as soon as I tossed them into the Ranger I just got. Time to upgrade to something I can use my iPod and Cellphone with.

That is what I was hoping to hear. Figured I would drop it on here to see if anyone had an opinion on it or not. No matter what, it will be better than the stock set up.

I have a Kenwood head unit and pioneer 6x8s myself, although my speakers are about 7 years old and are getting tired but I just put a Kenwood double din and pioneer for speakers in my mom's explorer and it sounds great, perfect amount of mids highs and a little bass for my mother

It sticks well since I glued it to the carpet, if a friend has to sit back there you just rip it off and move it over, where I put another patch of Velcro. Tomorrow I'm going to fine tune the amp and mount it down. I have it below the drivers seat, but relatively far back so it's only completely covered when the seat is all the way back. I figure it has sufficient air there, especially since I always have the vent on blowing at least on the third notch down directly to my feet. I also am going to fix all the rattle points tomorrow, it drives me insane having rattling window cranks!

I also plan on making a YouTube video showing everything and demoing the subwoofer. As of right now I'm going to use "Centipede" by Knife Party. It hits hard.
