4th order? ? How's that work? The back of the sub is sealed in that little enclosure then all the room in the front.... idk what I'm lookin at that box looked pretty crazy.

Pretty much, its a sealed with a front ported chamber, they are very good when you have alot of space, but not a ton of subs, very efficient per sub and power wise. Room not so much, I had a huge version of one in my truck

Meh, I wasn't crazy impressed with the video. I could still hear audio the whole time.
I'm not impressed until the bass distorts the camera to the point of an inaudible mess.

X2

That's what I was saying a few days ago! Lol I think I overexplained my reasoning and it ended up not making sense. At the end I asked "am I making sense?" and GLH came in and said "NO!"

Its a 2 way street, some people have some loud mids and highs, Im pretty sure he has a comp set in the front doors. Youtube Jared Gibson or Neil Barber, you can still hear their highs, yet they are windtunnels

LOL, I didn't know who Jared Gibson was so I did have to youtube that one. a 159.9 bassrace is a massive feat. He also did have quite a few mids and tweeters. Awesome stuff!

Kind of makes me want to make a bassracer now, but my practical side is saying I still use my truck for more useful purposes.

I got into it with a guy on CACO about that sub, he believe just because it has a bigger coil, he did not understand the concept of the spider having no room, or how the basket affects it. I used a reference to JL audios 8 with the basket they had, he though I was just a nuthugger but it was pretty innovated. It wasnt a DD vs Sundown argument, it was a more fundamental sub building discussion.

What a royal pain in the ass this was to install. Really wanted it flush to bezel to had to fabricate/modify dash kit. Looks good though and is mounted very securely. .
