I have a set of Polk Audio 6.5" component speakers. You probably won't want to go the component route though. As far as brands go I like Pioneer, Alpine, Polk, Infinity, and Rockford Fosgate.

What you mean component route? Also do you think I should keep every thing the same. Like head unit kenwood with kenwood speakers or mix it up. Sorry so many questions but I don't know much about speakers.

Brand matching doesn't matter. I have a JVC head, Polk speakers, Hifonics amp, and Bazooka sub. As long as your RMS ratings are well-paired it will be fine. I find Kenwood stuff to be just okay, and Kicker amps are alright, but don't buy Kicker speakers or subs; there are better options. Brand-wise, this is what I would look for in the market for equipment (no particular order).
Head units: Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood
Speakers: Pioneer, Alpine, Infinity, Polk Audio, Rockford Fosgate
Amps: Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, Alpine, Kicker
Subs: Alpine, JL, Rockford Fosgate, Sundown, Pioneer
I may have left out some things but its 2 am heh. Anyway when you're looking around just stick to those brands and you should have some quality stuff. There are variables and preferences that may help narrow down your selection, such as your budget, how involved you want your system to be, what type of build, etc.
