You will like the Alpine Type S better with that amp. That amp is a tad much for those Infinities.

Yeah but most amps are under powered and it was cheap so I don't really care I just didn't want them running off my head unit

I agree. In all truthfulness I would look around and find a different set of comps.
To me the alpine type s is mediocre. The type r comps get loud but Dont sound great to me. The type x comps are pretty decent.
And do I really have to be subjected to Sundown chit on here too?

I know they do...it's not what it used to be.
And there's a few Sundown Nazis on here who swear by them. I have zero experience with them, so I'm not saying anything good or bad. But the subs look stout by what I've seen on here
