Sure. I've got some other subs to try too(DD2510 and AQ HDC10s along with some borrowed Treo SSi 10s) but these are going in first. Saw you picked up an SA-8. The SA series are a solid subs. I had some SA-8 before I swapped them for some DC Lvl 2's. I might be ordering 4 of the v2's for a 4 order in my car once they come out or I might just pick up 4 eD e3.8's for it 2.

Sick. I've kinda been tossing around the idea of a new setup. Was thinking 2 sa15's or 4 sa8's.

I ran 4 e8s across the back of my ranger at point. Subs up port up.Was a pretty badass sounding and looking setup. 15's never really worked for me unless you want subs forward in like a half or full wall.

If I did 8's they'd be ran across the back wall like you were saying except I don't know if I'd have the port up. If I did the 15's they'd be in two seperate boxes made to look like one and my amps would sit under the boxes and my battery would be between them. I'd probably do them sub up, port forward.

Interesting. I'm too tall to have my seats like that though lol. If I'm seeing correctly the port is on the bottom? Vertical port might work better. Just a "guess" though. Never tried subs up port forward. Only time I've done port forward is port and subs forward. For my purposes I need something better to load off of.

Yea the port is on the bottom. I've actually been wanting to do a box with aero's. Wouldn't I be able to have a smaller box if I used them?

Slightly. Aeros are more efficient so you need the same before port and displacement but your port area can be smaller(if I'm wording this right, extremley tired tonight). I use aeros a lot to test with to find the best tuning. I can just make a really long aero out of PVC and then just keep cutting it down to find where I peak vs building a new slot port box every time to change my tuning.

I'd have to look into it but 2 6" aeros forward tuned to 31-38ish would probably work. Any more ports and you wouldn't have any room. Then I'd need to do the math to see if you have enough port area.(working on my own designs right now not gonna do real math right now). 4" aeros might work too but another thing I'd have to look into the math.

FYI. I have a grasp on a lot of "theories" but I never trust them until I test and some of my knowledge isn't really based on common terms. It just comes from testing and trying different things so my wording isn't always the correct way and I can be a little hard to understand sometimes. Its one of those things where I've thrown more boxes away then some people have used in there life and my knowledge is based on that not on all the so called "science" that is out there. EDIT Don't mean to sound like an a-hole in that last paragraph lol.
