Re: Show Your System
I might be upgrading it this fall to a Z v.4 10"
It looks nasty! (prototype pictured)
After my big 3 & alt. upgrade my truck has the power now to run an amp capable of pushing it properly (barely)

Re: Show Your System
The surround is so large, larger than the cone even, makes it look gimmicky.

The good stuff here, still got some cleaning up and proper mounting to do and i want to wire the cap back into the system (mostly for the voltage metre)
Thats a Sundown SA-8 V2 sub connected to a Alpine MRX-M55 and a XS Power XP750 secondary battery.
Beefy little monster that SA-8 V2!
Rated for 500w rms they have been SPL burped with 3Kw and broken with 5Kw! (NOT BY ME)
Only thing not pictured are my 6x8's this is what they look like.

I love Sundown they make some really nice subs!

Cut the excess wiring then put the rest behind the trim

Exactly. Trim the speaker/power leads and tuck the RCA's behind the panel.
Don't you know a clean install almost doubles your SPL?

The amp itself is mounted in a cubby where the jump seats are in the back so they are not visible but yeah it would still be a good idea to tuck em in a bit

Heres my story bought 2 "new" pioneer 10" boxed subs on bay for 50$ each! I good deal eh ?? Came super fast and was all taped up with pioneer tape , opened them and they looked great , however both would just rattle not even produce some bass. Found out the were blown so my friend gave me his little 5" sub i think lol (pictured ) with a 200w amp for the meantime , today I bought my friends sub and amp for $150 basically new ( amp used to be mine)
Old Setup : Piece of junk lol
Comparison with Old To New :
New Subs : 2 12" MTX Audio Boxed Subwoofer
Quick question!! Should i face my subs to my seats or to the backwall will it make a difference
THANKS GUYS!!!
