door speakers
i know this question is asked alot, but i dont have time to go diggin into the forum finding the answer. will 6x8 speakers fit in my door? no cutting? help please, im buying these speakers soon.

My 5x7's seemed to just fit. Hopefully someone else can chime in here, but IMO I don't think 6x8's will fit.

They should fit just fine.
I had these running for a while before I decided to cut and put in 6x9's

But now that I look at them, they fit 5x7 and 6x8 openings, so not sure

thanks, i went and bought them. theyre pioneers and turns out theyre custom to a mazda or ford. so i think theyll fit. installation today.

I think those that are specific to mazda and ford are the ones for the back. I bought those pioneers and put them in the back. For some reason I'm thinking the door speakers are a smaller size...

the guy i bought them from had them in the back of his 01. but ive got my clarions in the back, so these went in the front. so they were a little big, but fit fine. the screws just needed to be tightened a certain way to hold the speaker. i dont know how to explain it.

should be 5x7s, might be 6x8s/ back should be the same, either 5x7s, or 6x8s.
