i have a jensen vm9224, you can add attachments that you would like, ie, bluetooth, nav, 2nd ipod connection and more. i understand there is a bypass code that can be programmed into it. i how ever, took and wire the parking break wire to the "switch on" power wire. i installed a toggle switch in this wire as well. now i can switch on and off with a flip of the toggle.

im puttting in an OHC so im going to run the ipod connection to the OHC

Well i traded up 3 empty box's that were taking up space in the garage for this enclourse. 10" Clarion with shallow box. Sounds pretty good for free! Took it to my buddies shop, built the amp rack and this is what we got. Very happy, only needed to get rid of one seat and still full access to the back.

Funny thing is that the rear seat that was removed was still Wrapped in plastic from the dealer lol

That looks really nice man! And free?! Can't go wrong with that. And for that jumper seat still wrapped, sell it! Oh and anyway I could get that floor design where the sub and amp sits? That looks really nice and clean!

Pretty much the sub box is a truck shallow box. Any sterio shop sells it. I removed the whole jack and everything and the seat. After that its all open and just make sure you get something that fits in there. I was gonna buy another amp but smaller, mount it under the driver seat and keep both seats but $$$ is tight.

Very nice and clean. Well I have an edge extended cab so I have the seats that come out from the sides. But hows the sounding with that shallow box? I have two 12 inch Pioneers in a box right now and it's taking too much space in the back. I want at least one jump seat for a person or extra room to store luggage and stuff. Thanks man!

It sounds good only problem im having is that the actually clarion Star shape thingy is vibrating like crazy. I think its just glued on but im afraid to take it off incase theres a huge hole behind it or wires showing. Other than that it hits hard. Space is such a factor , i dont carry alot of people to begin with but i like to my options open.

Yeah I'm the same way when it come to space, love to have the option when it's needed. I might when I get some time off from work and money, to do this. I just need the tools and how to make a box and I'll be set

I took that caption star off. Thats actually a dust protector. It sounds much better but doenst look very good now. I saw a slim sub i want to buy anyways so i might slowly save for that since i now have the proper box and amp rack.

Ok so I returned the sub to the guy and he gave me the exact one but new. Sounds so nice!

It doesn't pound but it sounds nice... Just enough bass when it's right at your ear!

i have a 10" sub and can still use both back seats all you gotta do is get a truck box like his mines a lil wider but put the amp under the seat lay the sub down and wahh lahh you able to fold the seat down ontop of the box without it crushing it

Great looking install, was it hard to find a dash kit for the head unit? Im installing a double din this week in my 07 Ranger and they say you have to modify part of the lower dash were the head unit sits, is this true?
