Focal Polyglass 165V
Anyone ever installed these in the rear pillars of a 2004 Ranger. I can get them for 150 maybe 125 and I need to know if they'll fit. Thanks!

Here is what the dimensions are listed as -
Product Length: 14.17 inches Product Width: 5.91 inches Product Height: 9.25 inches Which doesn't make sense to me, why should the width and length be different, the speaker is round. Go to http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/a...r%2fMyCar.aspx Enter in all your vehicle specs and you should be able to get the maximum mounting depth.

The front door speakers can be retro-fitted fine, with spacers. however, it's the rear speakers that will be tight. I suggest making a ported box for them and cutting out the stock mounts. that's what my plan is, better acoustic positioning, louder and more clear, and much cleaner. plus you have way more room behind the seats.

you dont need componets in the rear, put those in the doors, and just coaxis in the rear, rear speakers are just for rear fill, not for loudness
