Where to run cable for magmount CB antenna on roof
Hi all,
I've searched through the CB threads and don't see much about where to run the antenna cable. I ordered a magnet-mount antenna from radioshack and am going to mount it in the middle-back of my cab roof (2010 Sport supercab). Really hoping to not have to drill anywhere since it's a new truck. Will it be alright to just run the cable out of the bottom or top of one of the back doors?
Thanks for the tips (and pic if you got em!)
Also - if the magmount ends up being crap, I'm going to try a fiberglass whip and mount it in one of the front stake holes of the bed. Anybody have good luck with this kind of mount?

Re: Where to run cable for magmount CB antenna on roof
I had a magnet mount they work fine just end up scratching the paint over time.
go right out the 3rd brake light just notch it and add some closed cell foam you can get at any hardware store to help seal it.
honestly I highly recommend doing a Firestik Stake hole mount instead either the normal one or the aux style if you have a cap/bed cover
here the aux one
here the normal one

People have run them through the body plugs underneath as well.
