Swap factory 6 disk changer in for factory cd player

I have the opportunity to purchase a 6 disk out of an 03. any reason it wouldn't swap right in for my stock CD/AM/FM/Casette Double DIN?

Does the 6 disk have an external amplifier I need to look for too?

direct swap

if u are getting it and they are shipping it. be sure it is in ship mode. before they ship.

Works like a charm! first time I've heard my R speakers work in a while since my old one had a pair of bad amplifiers. I love that it looks stock.

I just did the same thing, direct swap. Also if it is shipped the ship mode directions are right on top of the unit itself...MAKE SURE ITS DONE! Mine came up errors and i took it apart and by some miracle i fixed it

It locks the cd tray and componets into place. If it is not in ship mode. They can become lose during shippin and turn you new radio into a paper weight.

I have seen where it took people 10 hours to fix it. Some have had to spend money and take it to a radio repair shop.

You some how got super lucky. When you texted me and asked what that error code was I felt bad telling you it was possibly gonna be a paper weight.
