Default 2011 Ford Ranger Speaker Issue

Hello,

I got a Ford Ranger a few months ago and love it. I took it to the dealership a few weeks ago to have some basic things done on it, and after I noticed the radio started making crackling sounds. Didnít really care since I plug in the AUX cable for my phone. But just a few days ago my phone is making the same noise and itís become more louder. It makes a rough crackling sound on AUX and any radio station I turn on.

I have no auto or electrical experience whatsoever. I donít want to take it to the dealership since this issue came from there I believe so I would rather try to DIY this.

Thank you to any help!

A good deck will only cost you about $120 and a decent one for about $80-$90 for a media deck.

Is this a factory deck? Factory speakers?

This deck will do anything you need even if you put an amplified system in. No, that doesn't just mean BOOM. Speakers require more power than the deck can provide also. Even a small power pack amp that fits behind the deck makes a MASSIVE improvement. You'd be surprised the systems I've put in

There's only a couple of decks that actually have amps in them. Unfortunately yours isn't one of them.

It's a 50 watt "Max" kind of thing and it really doesn't do anything near that. The most RMS you'll see come out of a deck is no more than 17-18 watts.

its same as your amp above X4 speakers

50 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms

your amp will work better at 2 speakers, but I run 4
