Re: may have blown my subs.
Haha you just got ripped off for $15. Do a little research. Not to bust you balls or anything but all you had to do was just look at your amp to see what was wrong.

no it was behind the radio not at the amp. i put this system in myself and the remote wire was jarred loose from the wire crimp and grounded out.. i didnt feel like finding this electrical gremlin so i let them do the work..

Re: may have blown my subs.
Still. It's something that would have taken you 10 minutes to fix and you could have spent that $15 on gas haha

Re: may have blown my subs.
exactly why i only solder now. seen too many crimp caps come off. solder, then immediately put good tape on there, it will melt because of the hot wire and it will be connected forever!

Re: may have blown my subs.
yeah if the amp isn't set up right will blow through some subs quick.....only saving grace I had in my old system was it was installed by circuit city (back when they were good) and warranty covered blowing the one 10" twice....and cooking one 4 channel amp :-)
gotta love a good warranty!

Exactly. I soldered all my wires and put heat shrink on them with a small piece of tape over top of that then zip tied them all together and put some wire loom on it. Cleannnnnnn set up
