Didn't like the after market radio in my truck. Found an AM/FM cassett CD for a 2004 F150 in a neighboring town for $15. Fit like it was made for it and plugged right in and worked. Love it when a plan comes together.
The point is that the radio is out of 2004 F150. Just a simple slide in the bezel, plug it in, and it works. I wonder how much other stuff interchanges? I know it doesn't have enough watts/amps to crack the windows, my windshield precracked for my convenience.

Could it be that your wires were cut to fit the aftermarket radio and the eyes Galen to be the same for the f150? Would like to know more about the writing since I want a factory radio with cd.
