Default pulled wires on my sub, help me fix it?

so it was dark and the light for the system in the back was glowing. this is a newly acquired truck, so I was thinking maybe the amp was on and drawing power. So in this freak out o got mad and puller a wire from somewhere, which didnt actually fox the problem at all.

It is a two section copper wire (clear insulation) that came from the bottom of the sub box. After looking, there are two spring tabs (red and black) that im assuming it went into. Now i just cant figure out where the other end goes. THe blue light was coming from a round tube mounted on the box above the amp. There is a large(6 ga I think) black wire coming from this tube that is not connected to anything, but when i tried to put the two stranded wire onto that, the sub still wouldnt work.

Any ideas on how to fix this? It cant be that hard if i just pulled one wire, hopefully lol.

Sounds like you pulled the speaker wire out. One end to the spring tabs on the box. The other end to the speaker leads on the amp. Without pics though, it's hard to tell.

so sure enough i found a connector with 2 red and black wires. I connected the corresponding ends to each of those and then added the larger ground wire to the other 2 which stopped a loud humming, and voila. Thanks.
