My little brother picked up a double din radio for his little ranger, and would like some help putting it in. However, the previous owner cut off the connector from the factory wiring harness, leaving me with a clump of unidentified wires. Aside from ground and power, I'm not 100 % confident in which wires do what. If anyone can share a wiring diagram, or any past experience, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I know I'm a little late... but I would love to hear more about how you did your remote start... did you do a post anywhere? I have a '99 Ranger XLT Standard Cab, and along with some stereo upgrades I have been eyeballing some power window conversion kit things... and the remote start would really bring that truck 10 years into the future... I have a manual though, don't know if that will be a problem...
