Rear door speaker wiring
I was thinking about replacing all four speakers in the truck, but ended up realizing it would never be enough. So i'm going to put the amp and the old boomer in.
My question: can i access the rear speakers wiring by taking off the back pannel?

Re: Rear door speaker wiring
I believe so the wire harness runs down the floor and then splits off at the back wall to the speakers.

Re: Rear door speaker wiring
Actually scratch that!
I asked the tech at the dealership, he pulled 3d plans and showed me that each wiring set goes under the plastic step covers (left under the left one, right under the right one), which is way easier than taking out the seats and then the back pannel.

Re: Rear door speaker wiring
You have to take the back mini seats off first.

Re: Rear door speaker wiring
For the door panel you pull really hard at the inside edge.

Re: Rear door speaker wiring
Other inside edge. Like if you have the door open, the left side of the panel is where you need to pull.

Re: Rear door speaker wiring
Yes. It's like a 13mm socket to take it off though. Very simple.
