I have a 2007 Ford Ranger XL base, and I am looking for a new radio that will fit into the small box opening in the dash. If anyone has done a similar replacement before, and knows of a good radio that fits these trucks a link would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think any standard aftermarket will fit. You say 'small box opening' is your radio not a double din? The one in my '07 is. I have played with the idea of a double din with a back-up camera, just haven't done it yet.

There are couples of aftermarket radio online such as the seicane brand of car radio, you can take a look online.

I will say, I've installed a lot of radios over the years, and I've been consistently happy with Pioneer radios. They tend to just be better than other brands I've installed recently.

Start at Crutchfield. Even their cheapest radios are worth looking at.
