Default Blown fuse but can't find it

I was trying to install a after market head unit on my 1993 XLT. I blew a fuse somewhere but can't find it.. My radio will not turn on at all. cigarette lighter still works. I checked the fuse that I had replaced once before when the radio wouldn't work but that fuse isn't blown. I have no idea what is wrong.. Am I going to have to rerun a power wire?

This is what I did on mine. You have 3 fuses that control the radio. Replace them all. One is a 20 amp and the other two are 7.5's. I did alot of searching on this forum and some one had a similar problem as me. once I replaced the 20 and I got everything else back my radio was still out. When I replaced all of the radio fuses it worked. The fuses wern't blown but I think they were burnt and that caused the problem. once I replaced them all it worked.

Thanks!!! I will try to find them all and replace them all.. The only one I know about is the one that says it is a 15amp one under the steering wheel. How do I find the others?

Do you have an owner's manual? On the fuse issue, are you visually checking them are using a tester? They can look 'fine' but be blown.

use a test light and make sure you hit both sides of the fuse...

try disconnecting your battery cables and leaving them unconnected for about 5 min then reconnecting them it will restart your settings. It worked for me when my deck said i had a blown fuse.
