I need to remove the stereo from my truck to get it checked out. Short of a bfh & bf screwdriver, how do I get this sucker out? Please.

Using a 7mm socket, remove the 2 screws holding the radio bezel

Once you get it out compress the sides to release it from the bezel

There should be 4 holes 2 on each side that requires these U shaped clips that slide in and release the retainer pins. You should be able to buy them at Wally world for about 3-4bucks.

Well, DUH!! And I'm the guy who always sez 'Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
You guys are great. Thanx a lot.
Oh, yeah, a friend told me to go to crutchfield.com (which sent me to the mfg's website) to get wiring info for the stereo since it's not a FoMoCo stereo. Maybe this'll help someone else.
