on mine the wires are:

blue
blue w/green stripe
white w/green stripe
yellow w/green stripe

the aux cable i have is has two wires for both left and right (red and white).. yellow wire and another wire (with no color) and white wire with another wire (no color on that one either)

any idea how to match these up? i have the adapter to plug into the back of my alpine deck.. i'd rather not guess and check with the many different combinations. has anyone tried this yet?

Got mine working.... Just used my fluke multi-meter set to diode tester (I like to hear the beep) and stuck the red lead into my aux port and just started probing the connector in question going on each wire. Don't recall the wire colors, but they were 4 wires by themselves in a row at the one corner of the connector. Once I knew which 4 wires I was dealing with, I just guessed at connecting my RCA connector wires until I got it right. Used a left/right channel tone from my iPhone (plugged into the aux port) to make sure I had it all set up right. Sounds great now. :-)
