Default Speaker Size Options

Hey, I know that the size of the speakers all around my 93 XLT are 6x8's. However, I cannot find ANY 6x8's around at all. I was wondering if there are any other sizes that will fit without too much modifying. I would still like something that sound good. I would like something that I can buy close by...brackets and all.. Any suggestions?

Walmart carries a Pioneer 6x8. I have them and I'm pretty happy.

okay i am running 2 sets of infinity reference 5x7's

5x7's (99.9999 percent of them) come with a plate that is part of the speaker so that they will fit into a 6x8 hole. you will have more choices in 5x7's and i think you will be a lot happier with them. So i would find a good pair of 5x7's and depending on if you have an after market deck/ or if you are amplifying your speakers, i would get somethin around the range of 40 to 50 Watts RMS. which is pretty average.

Hopefull that helps. let me know if you have any other questions, i did a lot of research before i bought any of my speaker equipment, and i had quite a bit of it at one time LOL
