Looks like a good little set up. you wire it in by unplugging the antenna from the back fo your radio and plug this in line with that. Then looks like you just need to tap into a power and ground and then mount the input where ever you want it.

so if i get this i will have to radio stations anymore? so to get it to work i pull the radio out and there (i mit be mistaken) are two things plugged into the back and i just have to unplug one of them and then plug the modulator in and im set and of corse has to be grounded.

It just goes in line with your antenna. and then to power I believe. everything else works the same. I was going to get one but I am still debating on a aftermarket HU.

you will still have radio stations. you will have to tune into a certain one to use your ipod/mp3 player.

o ok thanks guys for the help. Drew, JMO but i think it is better to get the modulator than a new thing because the stock looks better to me, but like i said thats just my opinion.

Has anyone here had any experience with one and how great it works?

i have an one strictly for my xm radio made by xm and it works amazing, for some reason my old skyfi II built in fm module worked flawlessly then when i decided to get a new sat radio my stock hu was so much static i wasnt even using it, and all those 12V plug in fm modules the problem was the same, then i decided to try that xm module and crystal clear ever since... I hope that this thing does the same for you

Personally, the new head unit is THE way to go. Most have an aux connection on the back and the sound it reproduces is amazing.

Yea if I got a new hu I would get one that has and aux or USB on the front. I still not sure what I want to do. I will probably look more indepth into the modulator but if I don't go with a modulator I won't go with a transmitter I'll just get a new hu
