Default Wiring Adapter Kit?

I hope I don't upset some people with this question; but I really don't know much at all when it comes to radio wiring. That being said, I'm looking for an easy way out by purchasing a plug and play wiring adapter kit.

I have a 96 Ranger with the factory am/fm/cass. I have a am/fm/6 disc from my 02 Lightning. Is there a wiring adapter kit, plug and play, to make this transfer work? I'm hoping there is a kit and I don't have to go through cutting and splicing wires.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

You need a ford radio adaptor pigtail. Then cut and solder wires from pigtail to head unit harness

Yup, you need something like this:

Except it seems you need to solder the wires together, in the middle.
Same as I did here: http://imgur.com/a/xWGY6

Luckily, you can ignore the 20-pin square connector. All you need is the new 16-pin connector. Your two BLACK & GREY connectors (both 8 pin) together make up the 16-pins. It's really not difficult.

Edit:
Here is exactly what you need:
