Hi I have a 03 Ford ranger Edge. I have a new head unit instaled and 4 new speakers. My problem is that 3/4 speakers are working. The rear left one does not work for some reason. I checked to make sure it wasnt the speaker itself by hooking it up to the good side and it worked. Just wanted to know what I should check or do to make this fix! Any help is appreciated!

Check the wiring.

we checked the ohms on the good side and got a reading but on the bad side we got no reading. we are going to check continuity from the radio back to the connector

We tested the ohms on the speaker not working and got it to register 3.2 ohms. it stayed at that with the radios on and only making that side play music but nothing came out.

Make sure the adapter from the factory harness is plugged in and the connections are in the same pin. If you are using an adapter. If that don't work go straight from the deck wires to the non working speaker with a piece of speaker wire.

Your tiny stock speaker wiring is getting old anyway. Run new 16 gauge speaker wire from headunit to each speaker. Enjoy.
